The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB), through its Policy, Planning and Program Development Division (PPPDD), convened technical personnel and representatives from Manila Bay Units, alongside Budget and Planning Officers from the National Capital Region, Central Luzon, and CALABARZON, for a pivotal FY 2025 Budget Reprogramming cum FY 2026 Budget Proposal Preparation Workshop for the Manila Bay Rehabilitation Program. The event was held from February 25 to 27, 2025, at Seda Vertis North Hotel in Quezon City.
Participants engaged in comprehensive presentations of their Work and Financial Plans, outlining budgets, plans and programs for 2025, and proposing the same for 2026, all strategically aligned with their respective Regional Offices’ Manila Bay Rehabilitation programs.
The workshop featured a series of focused sessions, including the revision and refinement of FY 2025 Work and Financial Plans of each Regional Office, discussions on essential planning and budget forms, and the presentation of proposed FY 2026 budgets, programs, and activities. Particular attention was given to securing additional manpower and procuring or updating necessary monitoring equipment. EMB Central Office Planning Officers and other staff provided expert guidance to regional participants, ensuring all outputs aligned with established commitments and targets.
